¹² And I saw when He opened the sixth seal. And a great earthquake took place. And the sun became black like a sackcloth made-of-hair, and the whole moon became like blood^[a], ¹³ and the stars of the heaven fell to the earth— as a fig tree being shaken by a great wind throws its late-figs. ¹⁴ And the heaven was split^[b] like a scroll being rolled-up. And every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
